OUTsurance is a direct short-term insurance operation within the RMBH FirstRand stable, a leading South African financial services group.

Launched in February 1998, OUTsurance soon captured the imagination of the public with its innovative approach that included a suite of products with a range of special features and benefits.
On 1 January 2000 OUTsurance merged with First National Insurance, a company within the same group. The merger formed part of the broader FirstRand bank assurance strategy and consolidated the group’s short term insurance business.  As a result OUTsurance became one of the leaders within the industry in offering House Owners Insurance cover to bond account holders.

My fiancé is driving a corsa. They increase her premium every year by 10%. The car’s value goes down by a certain percentage. She has about 1 year left before the outbonus pays out.
Got some quotes, and by moving to another insurer she saves more money than the entire outbonus’s worth. Guess who’s losing another customer…

Spent nearly 2 hours on the phone just trying to get a quote. Feel like I sold my soul just to get it. They asked so many intrusive questions. I feel they are not an insurance company but a marketing company who’s records show that they are here not to help. Just answer the phone quickly ,sell and not pay. I am using a broker and now know exactly what I am getting. Broker also protects me from making mistakes.

I would recomend them every time. three times in 5 years needed them and every thing sorted over the phone within 5 minutes.
person previously if you do no do a requote on your vehicle the premiums will go up.

Just contact them on a yearly basis get your vehicles new value and bobs your uncle.
